Where the French Revolution took place
The French Revolution took place only in France. It started in Paris and spread throughout the Nation. Some settings of the French Revoluion were, during the Bastille, at The Palace of Versailles and at the Tennis court in Versailles. “The Palace of Versailles was originally the hunting lodge of France’s King Louis XIII, but was transformed into a magnificent residence by his son and successor, Louis XVI.” The Marie Antoinette’s estate is a great place to tour in France. Marie Antoinette was Louis XVI wife. Also, people can visit the palace of Versaille. Many people visit these places because it is cool to have been to a place that used to have famous people and a revolution.
The French Revolution started in July of 1789 but it lasted for about 6 more years because many more violent events were occurring between 1789 and years later. Some events that occurred where the Tennis Court Oath which was when “a pledge signed by 576 of the 577 members from the Third Estate who were locked out of a meeting of the Estates-General on June 20, 1789.” Another event was the Fall of Bastille. “The fall of Bastille was the medieval fortress and prison in Paris known as the Bastille represented royal authority in the center of Paris. While the prison only contained seven inmates at the time of its storming, its fall was the flashpoint of the French Revolution.”
